Agenda and Documentation for the IUCN World Conservation Congress now available

As of today all the information and documents on which Members will vote at the World Conservation Congress in Barcelona (5 to 14 October 2008), including the new IUCN Programme "Shaping a sustainable future", are available online.

You can find out who the candidates for President, Treasurer and Council are, as well as read/download the reports on the Union's work since the last Congress in 2004. The Provisional Agenda and Documentation for the Members' Assembly of the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Barcelona exist in English, Spanish and French.

The online registration for the Congress will open on 13 May 2008 under http://cms.iucn.org/news_events/events/congress/attend/congress_register/index.cfm together with the hotel and excursion booking system .
