5. Youth (up to 25 years as at 5 October 2008) 

 

Participants registering as youth will not be recognized as part of a members’ delegation or Commission and will be required to produce an ID onsite to prove their age.

BADGE PICK-UP

To pick up your badge:
 

  • For IUCN MEMBERS: Go to the “Members Pre-registered” counters.
  • For COMMISSION MEMBERS, GENERAL PARTICIPANTS (Private and Other Sectors), YOUTH: Go to “Pre-registered A-L” or “Pre-registered M-Z” counters, based on the first letter of your Last Name, as you have stated on your registration.
  • For HOST COUNTRY: Go to “Host Country” counters.
  • For SECRETARIAT (IUCN staff) and SUPPORT STAFF: As of noon, October 4th go to “VIP” counter, if you have not picked up your badge in advance. (Separate instructions will follow for IUCN staff.)
  • For MEDIA: Go to “Media” counter.
  • For VIP: Go to “VIP” counter.
  • For EXHIBITORS: Go to “Exhibitor” counters.

Badge

Every participant is kindly requested to wear his/her badge during all Congress activities and social/cultural events. Entry will not be permitted without a badge.

Replacement of lost badges incurs a EUR 35.00 administrative charge. This charge will be reimbursed if the lost badge is found and returned.

Badge and Congress documents can be collected from the Registration Area (location and timing to be advised in July 2008).
