New Members’ Portal: Resolutions and Recommendations System

16 February 2010 | News story

In compliance with Resolution 4.011 (Development of an automated system to record Members’ actions on Resolutions and Recommendations to improve reporting at, and between, World Conservation Congresses), the IUCN Secretariat has developed an online tool to facilitate reporting by IUCN Members and the Secretariat on activities contributing to the implementation of Resolutions and Recommendations adopted at the 2008 World Conservation Congress in Barcelona.

IUCN Members have now received an email from our Membership Unit with an individualized username and password. The same username and password will grant access to other IUCN online services for Members.

The system for IUCN Resolutions and Recommendations is the first step in the development of a new Members’ Portal. The ‘old’ Portal will remain online whilst information is steadily transferred over the coming months.

We look forward to learning more about the activities and achievements IUCN Members are undertaking in response to the Resolutions and Recommendations adopted at the 2008 World Conservation Congress in Barcelona.

Should you have any queries related to reporting, please contact Cosntanza Martinez (constanza.martinez@iucn.org) IUCN Senior Policy Officer.
